AGM 2013/14 AGM 2013/14

Members of the public from across Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby were invited to learn more about the work of the CCG and quiz GPs and managers at its Annual General Meeting, held on 18 September at The Station, Richmond.

The doors opened at 1.30pm with an interactive marketplace where staff showcased key CCG health projects which offered attendees an opportunity to understand how health services are commissioned and to speak directly to CCG staff. There was also information stalls from other local health-related organisations. We spoke to attendees to find out their thoughts about the AGM and how they're making a difference to local healthcare:

The formal meeting included a presentation from members of the CCG’s Governing Body, reflecting on progress made during our first year as the lead commissioner for health services across the area. The formal meeting also looked to the future, examining the CCG’s strategic plans and highlighting some of the key initiatives the CCG will be implementing to further improve and develop local health services. This will be focused around what needs to happen to ensure local health services can cope with a growing older population.
