Health Engagement Network (HEN) Health Engagement Network (HEN)

Join Our Health Engagement Network (HEN)

Join a membership of other local people with interests in health services funded by NHS Hambleton,
Richmondshire and Whitby Clinical Commissioning Group
(known as a CCG). It’s free to join and you get first-hand information about the work of the CCG and developments to health services across Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby areas. The Health Engagement Network or ‘HEN’ helps to CCG to reach local communities and is the ‘go to’ resource for feedback on services and our plans for the future.

What does membership involve?

You can choose how much you get involved with the Network. There are three levels of free membership:

  1. Advocate membership
Actively participating in projects, surveys and invited to volunteer at engagement events. You will receive appropriate training. There may be the opportunity to sit on committees or attend meetings that will support the CCG in its provision of health and social care services. You will be kept fully informed of any time commitment required. You will receive regular updates and newsletters.
  2. Associate membership
Actively participating in surveys or questionnaires, invited to engagement events and receive newsletter and general updates. From time to time, you may receive surveys from us on behalf of other related agencies (e.g. North Yorkshire County Council).
  3. Information only membership
Only receive newsletters and general updates.

Whichever level of membership you choose, the benefit is that you will be invited to be involved in the planning and development of services.

If you would like to take part please:
